Hi!

Im looking to build a gaming PC for a friend, she wants to be able to play games such as Skyrim on fairly decent settings. Here are the details:

Approximate Purchase Date: Before 20th Feb

Budget Range: £350 -£400

System Usage: Mainly gaming and surfing the net, she likes games like Skyrim / The Witcher 2 etc..

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: ebuyer (UK), Dabs.com (UK), Overclocker (UK)

Parts Preferences: I3 2120 Processor (motherboard that can be used to upgrade to I5 at a later date), Radeon 6850 Graphics Card

Overclocking: No

Additional Comments: Reasonably quiet PC which has scope to be upgraded a couple of years later.

Thanks in advance!

This bundle covers the CPU, MOBO and RAM in one hit @ £169.99

I recommend this overclocked 6850 for better performance @ £129.99

That doesn't leave much room for HDD and Case/PSU though :/

Dabs have a value case with 500w PSU for £22, which seems to get good reviews, but I don't recommend any overclocking with it. Then It's about £60 for a decent 500gb HDD from dabs too.

That totals ~£380. When it comes to upgrading I recommend you change the Power Supply as well. Hope this helps! :)
