Haven't decided on case or power supply unit, also should i stick to stock cpu cooler?
Could push up budget slightly if necessary

1.] If you are a gamer, please use custom heatsink to decipate hot air. You don't want to fry your processor if you are playing such a demanding game.

2.] Regarding PSU, I would go for a Silver / Bronze 750W ~ 800W if you are running Ati 6870, intel i3 and other components that wants to crunch power!
I would recommend these:

Cooler Master GX 750W (Bronze)

Corsair 750W (Silver)

Coolermaster RS800 - 800W (Gold)

About the CASE, I would go for this, as it also has filters!

Antec 902 (V3) Series
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/antec-902-nine-hundred-two-v3-mid-tower-atx-case-usb3-with-side-window-w-o-psu

I have this case before and it performs VERY WELL! :)
