Hi. I'm looking to build a good general use PC that has some decent horsepower and will keep me happy for a few years. Buying and building in the UK with a budget of £800.

I don't game much but would like the capability, I do quite a lot of photo editing (processing large RAW files) and also editing and rendering of HD video. Would like a GPU that can deliver at 1920 x 1200 - maybe an a GeForce GTX 560 Ti or Radeon HD 6950? I'm not planning on SLI or Crossfire.

Existing components that could be re-used are:

Case (Antec Titan)
PSU (Thermaltake Toughpower 750)
Hard Drives (for storage). I would like a fast new boot drive - maybe SSD?
Could also use the DVD writer

I suppose I'll also need a copy of Windows 7 as my old PC is still on XP.

So how would you split £800 for a complete build, or alternatively one that just had a boot drive (SSD or HDD) and no PSU, case or optical drive?

Thank you.
