Hey,

I need some advice on parts you would recommend getting for around £700, I would like to play this year and next years games in high - max settings. Any advice??
Thanks.

In short for the computer itself:

CPU: i5 2500k
CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212+ ( or EVO )
Mobo: Z68 based mobo with SLI support. Gigabyte, Asrock best choices in the £100-120 range.
Mem: 2x4GB 1.5V CAS9 1600 Mhz DDR3
GPU: GTX560TI or Radeon HD 6950
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
DVD: 24x DVD writer
Case: Something like Antec 300 or better. £50+
PSU: 750W PSU from Antec, Corsair, Silverstone, Seasonic or XFX. So that you can get 560Ti SLI or 6950 Crossfire.

And you should get all that for about £700, maybe slightly more.

However filling the advice Why_Me listed will give much better idea of what exactly is needed and what is not.

Agree with the above except the mobo if you don't plan to SLI. A cheap asrock mobo would suffice.

The case should be a HAF 912 because it looks sexier than an antec 300. ^_^
