Narrowed it down to three monitors. Recommendations?

So, I've spent the last week or so checking through review after review, trying to find the proper monitor for my needs.
At this point, I've narrowed it down to three, and I would like to know which the community recommends.

Hoping to order by the end of the day.

The first two are virtually the same monitors. I just wanted to make sure there were no negatives going with a 23" over a 24", that it simply came down to size. Being that that inch would save me a fair chunk of change in comparison.

With the last one, I understand that it is an IPS, meaning that it offers a wider viewing angle and, usually, more precise colors over TN monitors. That said, I've heard that they tend to have slower response times than TN panels, and that TN might be the better way to go, if the monitor is going to be used primarly for gaming. Which this one is.

So, yes, any recommendations would be appreciated.

More about narrowed monitors recommendations
  1. Hello there,

I have several Asus monitors in this range over the last couple of years - mainly bought as (relative) budget LCDs for my kids. I'm not a fan of their monitors, to be honest. I've used Asus hardware in PC builds for years and feel generally safe with their PC components but the monitor build qualities are less than impressive and we've seen too many dead pixels in too short a time on this kind of screen.

Having said that (sorry for the downer :P), if you're committed to one of these three then I'd certainly go for the 24" if my budget allows. It's only an inch but it's also a whole inch. If you have only a single LCD then go for the larger model. They're basically identical otherwise. I would also go with the TN if it's intended for 'normal' situational gaming, i.e. a relatively standard desk/sitting position. I have a big IPS in my living room connected to a media PC which works better due to the viewing angle but for more serious gaming I would prefer the TN panel.

Hope this is helpful - good luck.
