Hi guys wondering if any of you could look over this build and see if you can find any different components that you would change (Hopefully cheaper but still as good or better)

I want to be sub £900.

Prefer to buy from SCAN / EBUYER open to other if price inc delivery works out cheaper

Missing RAM and HDD dude xD
August 28, 2011 4:47:12 PM

Memory and HDD is still missing from the list.
- HDD samsung spinpoint F3 1TB
- Memory: Corsair/Gskill/Kingston/Mushkin Cas9 1.5V 1600Mhz 2x4GB kits

Other than that I think you have excellent choices. Nice mobo, good CPU and cooling, excellent PSU.

GTX570 is a bit on the expensive side these days though - 560TI would pretty much be enough for 1920x1080 and at £180
There is about 20-30% difference in speed favoring the 570 but at the cost of £70 which is 40% more it might not be worth it.
AnandTech bench for the graphics cards. 560Ti vs 570

So if you need that extra then by all means get it, but if not you get a better deal with the 560Ti and SLI 560Ti

I will be getting 3D surround further down the line as well so thought the extra power from the 570 would be the better option but I take the point.

Total now just over 900 with the ram and HDD (with 570 still however)

Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB £39.58 SCAN

After that if you can afford what is there, all is good :)

SeaGate HDD is SATA III, Samsung is SATA II

Cheers guys that takes me to ~ 915 which I can deal with shame no cases in the sub 100 price range are ones I like.

Looks like I am off to place a order soon then :)

TOOOO FUSSSSY xD

Yeah but the Seagate gets no benefit from the SataIII, only drives capable of going past the capabilities of the SataII interface are SSD's.
So the Samsung Spinpoint F3 is cheaper, faster and more reliable. Overall a better drive.
