heres a very high end rig for less than that budget:

GTX 570:

Gigabyte Z68A-D3H-B3 mobo:

OCZ modstream 700W PSU:

Antec 300 case:

DVD-RW drive:

Samsung F3 500GB HDD:

4gb corsair vengeance 1600Mhz ddr3 ram:

which comes to £679.20 inc. £0.31 postage.

you could spend whats left on an SSD (fast boot times and fast loading times).

i did miss out OS:

and speakers/mouse/keyboard/microphone and monitor.

Thanks for the reply's everyone it has helped lots !!

For the CPU i have gone for a intel i5 2500k.

But there are still a few things i am unsure on:

There are also so many chipsets for the i5 2500k. Is there any difference in performance depending on what chipset you go for? And if so which will be the best one?

The chipsets for the intel i5 2500k are: P67, H68, H61, B65, Z68, Q65, Q67

Searching on i found 77 different motherboards. I need some help!!!
There were also a few different brands like :
Which is the most reliable brand?

I don't know whether i am overcomplicating this, but i want the best bang for my buck. So i want to do some research before buying anything.

Also 1 last thing: Will i need to buy a fan for my build?

Thanks for reading

I will be pleased to listen to your responses on this.
