Total Including Vat =£301.42
plus £15 delivery=£316.42

I'll also be getting an ati 5770 somewhere down the line for £60(which is part of this budget) I think, but the integrated gpu on the mobo should get me by on SC2 until then.

Some additional questions:
REALLY IMPORTANT= the motherboard says it is am3+ in the product title but in the product specification it says it is only am3 on the dabs website.I've checked the asrock website and it says the motherboard has an am3+ socket but Im sorta worried that maybe dabs have an older revision of the motherboard or something?can anyone confirm if these asrock 880g pro3 are am3+ only.I would greatly appreciate it.

Also can anyone vouch for this patriot memory or should I just get kingston?

Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB 7200RPM £40

AMD Phenom II X4 955 £94

I don't know how this site works. Does this mean you get to save an additional $10 for the Gigabyte 6770?
http://www.dabs.com/products/gigabyte-ati-radeon-6770-hd-850mhz-1gb-pci-express-hdmi-7JY2.html?refs=43280000
If not go for this one instead:
http://www.dabs.com/products/sapphire-technology-ati-radeon-6770-hd-1gb-pci-express-hdmi-7HRH.html?refs=472950000

The 6770 is a rebadged 5770. I think it runs a bit better too. My friend plays SC2 fine with a 5770 using AMD Phenom II. If you can't afford all of this, then just get the graphic card since you didn't list one. I know the 880 has integrated graphics but that's crap.

Thanks for the reply, but man...I'm not really rollin in the money right now:/

I'm already over budget(£10-£20 might not seem much to you,but it is to me) and your suggestions(not inc. gfx) bumps the price up £50.

By obtaining the 5770 I meant purchasing it off another site down the line(maybe 2nd hand/refurbished)for £60.

Also the 4250(the integrated gfx)can run sc2 on low at 60 fps so that'll do me till I can afford the dedicated gfx card.

I'm assuming these parts will all work together then? And you can't answer the mobo question can you?

Thanks yummerzzz for the suggestion, thats a very good value build you have there but I'm afraid it's not for me.I don't like the odds of that cpu unlocking and tbh I would not be happy with a x2,but i would be content with a x3.

I also forgot to mention that I have a get genuine online windows 7 kit(very similair license to OEM) which is why I want this build to be as upgradeable in the future as possible,as I will have to get a new OS if i want to swap the motherboard out.

I'm pretty sure know after some more research that the asrock 880g pro3 mobo is am3+,but can anyone confirm?

thank you metal orient, for some reason i felt like i was missing something obvious.I appreciate the confirmation.

also,i realise that 600w is way more than i need for this current system, but it gives me alot of headroom to add or change stuff in the future, which i plan to do =D.

i'll order tonight hopefully and let you guys know how the build goes or if i need help(it'll be my first build)
.thanks again.
