I would like some advice on a new eyefinity build I am planning for my brother. We have a £1000 (flexible) budget to work with.

This PC will be used primarily as a gaming rig but will also act as a general media hub for movies, photos etc. The main priority, as stated, is to get the best gaming performance possible for the money.

Main points:

• £1000 budget, could stretch to £1200 if it makes sense to. Peripherals included.
• eyefinity ready
• overclockable

Any help with a components list would be greatly appreciated.

I want to make sure the components play nicely together and I don’t want to waste cash, so if you have any suggestions please let me know.

Thanks a lot.

lol. This post is a British version of what I just uploaded on youtube, minus the "build" part. My brother and I, same price range. Eyefinity capable. Overclocked. Here, if you wanna see the video, but I warn you, it's un-edited, so it runs a bit long.

Starts with Part 1:

i havent included phesphericals and am still calculating the total cost. This great high-end system comes to £162.59 (ebuyer) + £821.16 (aria, inc. crossfire 6870s and the SSD and everything listed above) = £983.75 and then theres the phesphericals such as mouse etc.

shop around for the best prices, such as on ebuyer, aria, dabs, eBay, amazon, overclockersUK, scan, novatech etc. to find the best prices and enjoy :D
