  5. looks good thanks ... not lovin the case so maybe i might find a cheaper one and i wont be far over my budget :)

il cross check stock with scan.co.uk and other sites and maybe there might be lower prices sumwher :)
  6. also do u kno if this mobo has wi-fi? cos i cant see that in the specs
  7. You can get a wireless dongle for around £8 on ebay so I wouldn't pay through the nose for a motherboard that has it.

You said that you didnt want to overclock but the i5 2500k is such a good overclocker and the motherboard selected has a easy overclock function so I would defo do it.

IF you didnt want to overclock at all though then try this:
    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/gigabyte-ga-z68a-d3-intel-z68-s-1155-pci-e-20-(x16)-ddr3-1866-2133-sata-3gb-s-raid-atx

drops you under the price point you wanted nearly but the other board is better.
  8. have you tried amazon.co.uk? they offer free shipping on alot of the items to Ireland ( i am building a new machine aswell in Ireland :) ) For price wise i have found that scan.co.uk has the best prices and the shipping will only be £12 ish which isnt bad for all the components.
  9. yea i was hopin these parts wer on scan.... you said you wer building a machine? do you hav any advice on parts ? or would you agree with drag0n ?
  10. lso are the overclocked bundles wth scan nygud? i havent checked them so just wondering
  11. okay found a good bundle overclockers.com and have basically chosen from there so would this be good for the purposes given?

so here are wat ive been looking at :

    GPU: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=GX-099-MS

    MoBo, memory and CPU: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=BU-042-OE

    Case: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...-017-OP&tool=3

    HDD: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...14&subcat=1279

    wifi: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...97&subcat=1622

    CD drive: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/produc...ortby=priceAsc

not sure whether to get psu or would the psu with case be sufficient?

    thanks
