Hi all, I have purchased a new system today that will be my first (own) homebuild.. The total cost of the system outlined below was £680. I would like to know whether any, more informed buyers think that it is a good choice of components for the money! Probably should of asked this before I purchased but I'm too impatient!! Any feedback much appreaciated :)

System:

Coolermaster CM690 II Lite

Coolermaster GX 650W PSU

Asrock M3A770DE 770 Socket AM3 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.4GHz Socket AM3 8MB Cache 125W

Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz/PC3-12800 XMS3 i5 Memory Kit CL9(9-9-9-24) 1.65V

XFX HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI Dual Mini Display Port Out

Western Digital WD5000AAKS 500GB SATAII 7200RPM 16MB Cache

Iiyama Prolite 24" TFT HDMI Monitor

The Cooler Master GX 650 is something you would have been told not to buy if you had asked, as the GX series is not that good:

So it is probably adequate for your build, but there are better options.

here in the UK the difference is only £2.50 or so beetween the 955 and 965 so its worth it getting the 965.

I know, I was going to go down the sandybridge route actually but I doubt I will be upgrading for a fairly long time except maybe extra gfx card/water cooling/more memory/better power supply so the most value for money was more paramount than upgradeability!
