Hi, I will use a 50" 1080i plasma screen and using the system for gaming mostly. I need to know if there are any compatability issues?

I want to overclock so is any further cooling advisible (like water cooling)?

Are there any specific tools needed for construction?

I considered other cases but I'd like something a bit different from the norm, does the Phantom have good airflow etc, are any other interesting looking cases recommended?

And the DF-85. Point being that it is not compatible with the NZXT Phantom, so if you want to keep the Phantom then you will have to change the power supply. You won't need an 850W PSU for what you have listed, so my recommendation for nearly the same price is the Silverstone Strider Plus 750W 80Plus Silver Fully-Modular for £96:

look into the corsair tx 850/hx 850 or a xfx 850w psu. do you have corsair force 3 ssd's you can get because they are cheaper and have the same controller as the vertex 3 meaning they are the same ssd. what games will you be playing because you might want to go with 2 560 ti's at that resolution. no need for water cooling. just a screwdriver for construction the phantom has good air flow. other interesting cases you might like is a silverstone raven.

Thanks guys! Just the sort of advice I needed.

I play a wide variety of games from latest civ's, COD's, footy manager, AvP, space sims and anything else I think I might like :)

I will choose from Silverstone Strider and corsair psu's and consider the raven case. I'll see if I can get the Corsair 3 ssd too.

Your maths is wrong, price is £1612 before delivery.

Also 2500K is £10 more on Aria.

Would be better to buy the Mugen from ebuyer as it won't add an unnecessary delivery cost.

Can buy ripjaws at ebuyer that are the same spec and cheaper, but will ruin your blue black decor:
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/264750

Also i may be wrong but Ebuyers Win 7 Home is £17 cheaper:

Often a good idea to use Ebuyer for cases, as you can get free delivery.
