Hi all i am looking to build a new PC and could do with some advice on what components to buy, any help would be much appreciated.

Approximate Purchase Date: within 1 month (2nd week of march)

Budget Range: £500 - £550

System Usage from Most to Least Important: HD movies, surfing the internet, gaming.

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers.

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: Currently running a 1920x1080 monitor.

Case doesn't have to special, perferably a quiet system.

thanks Why_Me , i have chosen to select those components you have pointed out.

i chose a different case and managed to get windows 7 professional for only £40 through a student software website, overall cost was around £530.
