Will buy a SSD as soon as I can, but not initially unless it is a really noticable.

Will hope to pick up another 560Ti when they drop in price / if a 2GB version comes out relativly cheap (Is is possible to SLI a 1GB & 2GB version of the same card? and is there the performance boost that you get with SL?I).
looking for stable 1920x1080 gaming.

Is it worth getting 8GB of ram or better timings for more money?

Is it worth getting a more expensive motherboard if I am looking to SLI in the near future?

If I've missed out on anything let me know and what you think as well.

SSD IS noticeably much faster than HDD. If you have the money, go for it. You won't regret it, but you might wonder why you didn't buy it earlier. Do look for 2nd-gen chipset like Vertex 2. You don't need a gigantic one. Just 30-60GB for OS and frequently used apps i.e. web browser. In any case, you'd be wise to separate OS & storage drives. Small one for OS & big one for storage (my docs). And back up the OS drive to the storage one. There's freeware for this.

While 7200.12 doesn't have the 7200.11 problem, I'd still steer clear of Seagate. Let 'em learn their lesson. WD is a good make. I prefer Samsung for OS & Hitachi for storage. Yeah, I'm aware of IBM Desk(Death)star made by Hitachi, but it's like a decade ago. I've been running 3 Hitachi in a server for years. During this time, I rma'ed 1 Seagate & no other.

SLI isn't faster across the board. Some games are while others not so much. You have to look at SLI benchmarks for your games. You can tell me which ones & I'll find some benchmarks.

8 gigs of ram if you're running a 64bit OS. Otherwise, your OS is 32bit so it can make use of up to 4 gigs. Don't bother with better timings. Just save money. A SSD will wipe the floor with a pc with HDD + the fastest ram.

Are you kidding me? The Asrock can do CF & SLI. Wouldn't change it. I would've gotten it except I don't do dual cards anymore. FYI, Asrock is a unit of Asus.

is this ready to buy?

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/245376 <--- get yourself an after market heat sink. This one here comes with the thermal compound. Scan uk had it for cheap, but I don't know what their shipping charges are like. That model there is decent enough, and that Asrock board over clocks like Manchester United on crack.

http://www.asrock.com/MB/download.asp?Model=P67%20Extreme4&o=BIOS <--- Make sure you flash to the latest bios for that board...check first to see if it has the latest version, but chance are your going to have to go to that site and download them. These new bios make the voltage stable for better over clocks. These P67's are new chip sets and all board makers are revising their bios to fix any bugs.

This first link down below is worth reading imo. It breaks that board down pretty good. It's a short review, but a very good read.

http://www.madshrimps.be/articles/article/1000116/ASRock-P67-Extreme4-Motherboard-Review/0 <--- Fairly recent review of the ASRock P67 Extreme4 with some o/c tips and great screenies.

Looks good I don't think antone answered the SLi question, the answer is you can use a 2Gb card with a 1Gb one but it will run the same as 2 1Gb ones. The better of the 2 cards will always run the same as the other one in terms of clock speed ram speed and RAM amount.
