I might put in this case: Antec 902, or a better PSU. I think GTX 460 would be ok for him to play games like medal of honor on med-settings.

The 6850 is not worth 20 quid over the GTX 460.

The 460 will play MOH on high ez...
Also, GTX 460 768MB version is within 4% of the FPS of the 6850 on everything except 2560x1600 Resolution so.... is it worth 20 quid on a medium budget system?

I think not,

As for the Radeon HD 6850 however, things are much more lopsided in AMD’s favor. It’s give and take depending on the benchmark, but ultimately it’s just as fast as the GTX 460 1GB on average, even though it’s officially $20 cheaper. And at the same time it draws less power and produces less noise than the GTX 460 1GB. In fact unless the GTX 460 1GB was cheaper than the 6850, we really can’t come up with a reason to buy it.

unless you started this as anything other than 'a question looking for an answer' there should be an icon on each post marked 'select as best answer',
if thats not there you must've opened it as a discussion (Like I usually do hehe)
