Hi guys,

Helping a friend put together a system. He's looking to spend around £800, doesn't need a monitor, keyboard or mouse. After doing a bit of reading around I've come up with this tentative list, any opinions would be welcome.

CPU: Intel Core i7 860

MOBO: ASUS P7P55D iP55

RAM: Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz

GFX: MSI GTX 460 HAWK OC Edition 1GB

HDD: Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 1TB

PSU: Corsair 650W TX

Case: Antec 900

DVD: Samsung SH-S223

CPU fan: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro

Thanks in advance.

If you plan on going with 2 cards in the future I rate the GTX460 as a better choice than the 5850.

Having said that, if you can afford a 5870 or GTX470 in the build then I would seriously consider them
