What is the best 1920x1080 27inch monitor I can get?

I looked around and saw the Asus VE278Q...but I can't find anything on Google that reviews 1080p 27 inch monitors.

I am planning to get 3 of the same monitors to have a cool setup.

Will be using it for gaming, video editing, and work.

Any thoughts?

The VE278Q is pretty good, but not the best 1080p 27". That would probably be this one given all your criteria (especially the work part and video editing part). Quite expensive for a TN monitor though (but you get what you pay for with NEC).

Thanks for the replies!

I suppose a really sharp 27inch monitor..something solid and reliable. Really good picture. I hate 3D, but 120hz would be nice.

I guess what I am looking for is:

A solid, 27 inch monitor with the best picture quality I can get with a 2ms refresh rate. Any ideas?

I'm getting an ASUS VG278H: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236206 , it has all what you want from a 27" monitor + Nvidia 3D Vision support
it's a 1080p 120Hz LED Backlight, and its response time is 2ms
THIS IS THE PERFECT 27" 1080p display!! I advise you that if you hate 3D, you might had a bad experience with a bad 3D monitor, think again, this is the real thing, it will immerse you with the best 3D experience you can ever imagine.

Hi - If you are looking for really sharp screen images, you want a 1440p
- 27" monitor and not 1080p.

Oh, BTW - don't believe vendore mktng hype on low ms response time unless confirmed
by trusted lab review. All popular monitor brands are engaging in hype with regard
to ms response times.

In real world use, you won't notice a difference on anything lower than 8ms. One of the users
on here linked a live comparison where an 8ms(probably true) significantly beat out a 6ms
(probably hype) monitor.
