HTPC with £200-250 budget

Hi there,

I would like to build a HTPC for my bedroom, ideally with a £200-250 budget. It's just a starter so I'd ideally like it to be open to upgrade. It would be sitting by my TV, so ideally it would be housed in a specialist HTPC case with a front display etc.

I would have it connected to a LCD TV and Onkyo receiver. I'm not worried about encoding/burning movies etc. I would like it to play back HD material (1080p included). I'll be running XBMC on it, and I guess the best operating system would be windows 7 64 bit. Ideally I'd like it to connect to the internet wirelessly, but if that's a problem then I can connect via ethernet.

I'm in the UK, so any product advice would need to be relevant to UK websites. Thanks in advance for any help, I'm new to PC building, so I struggle with compatibility between components etc.
