Hey folks.

Thanks in advance for any advice. I'm in the uk and looking to purchase and build a pc in a month and am looking for any ideas and advice people have to offer. This will be my second build.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: September

BUDGET RANGE: Up to £600 (uk pounds)

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: MMO play (single-thread gaming), movie watching, surfing and hdtv-connection.

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: https://www.aria.co.uk/ or any single uk retail site.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: UK.

PARTS PREFERENCES: AMD pref for upgrade path and functionality > form. DVD RW drive required and HDD needn't be large (slaves can be added).

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe.

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Prefer single gpu in the base build suitable for adding another of the same model to crossfire.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1440x900

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I intend on using Windows 7 in 64bit.

Ok, I thought HDD needs to be large...

Here you go - Samsung F3 500GB

That should do it I think. Have'nt really calculated, but should be well within your budget :)
