[Flat Panel Monitor] Replacing Old 19'' Acer AL 1916W. Need advice.

I just recently bought a brand new rig.. With MSI R7850 but i couldn't buy a new monitor right away. So time has come and i can allow myself to finish the rig

Approximate Purchase Date: As soon as i find the right one

Budget Range: $250 after rebates

Monitor Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, movies, surfing the internet

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Doesnt really matter

Country of Origin: Canada

Brand Preferences: No preferences

Physical Size (Diagonal): Maximum of 22''

Resolution(s) You'll Consider: 1920x1080

Computers and Other Devices To Attach: 1 desktop, willing to try HDMI

Panel Type(s) Desired: Im not too sure what that means lol..

LED Backlight: Indifferent

Speakers: Avoided

Wall-Mount: Indifferent

Stand Functions: height

Additional Comments: I would like to try HDMI. Unless people had bad experience with it..


I have few options that im having troubles to pick from:

My preference is because of HDMI:

I dont want to limit myself, so therefore i'm open to any other suggestions!

Of those, the VH222H-P seems like a more attractive option because it's a e-IPS panel whereas the ML228H is a TN panel. However, filling in a copy of the template might help me to find other monitors to suggest:
