Help my monitor blackout?

I have a LCD hp 23 in monitor w2338h fn747aa but when I turn it on it turns on and shows the screen of the computer and goes black while on. Then I turn it off and back on and does the same, it's not the graphics card but I think the monitor itself, should I open and see or take it to bestbuy lol

Take it back to Best Buy they are more qualified than you I imagine.

I think you should check your monitor IC may be it could be heated or burned. I think this happened by power fluctuation.

Brown outs are the culprit to do damage to monitors and televisions.Get yourself a AVR checks the voltage when it drops .
