APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Next week

BUDGET RANGE: £800

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Games, watching porn

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Got a 21" LCD screen, going to use my old keyboard, mouse and Z4 speakers. Also using the optical drives and hard drives from old PCs.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: ebuyer.com or ebay.co.uk

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: England

PARTS PREFERENCES: XFX 5850 graphics card, HAF 922 & i5 750. (Build rest to be compatable with these)

OVERCLOCKING: Yes
Maybe SLI OR CROSSFIRE:No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Parts come from a website which delivers to the UK. Please don't suggest Newegg parts as some which are cheap on that site are really expensive over here since they need to be imported.

If it is £250 for 5850, £90 for HAF 922 and £160 for i5 750, totals £500, then I make that about £300 for Mobo, RAM, PSU, and heatsink.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus £20
The only other site that I've found this on, including the bracket for LGA 1156 is Aria.co.uk

Patriot Sector 5 Viper II 4GB (2x2GB) PC3-12800 1600MHz £80
Wait for this to come back into stock or get this instead: G-Skill 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz/PC3-12800 Ripjaw Memory Kit CL7(7-8-7-24) 1.65V £90

Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3 £110
You can get this board for around £100 on ebuyer and scan. Scan doesn't have the CM Hyper 212 Plus with 1156 bracket (or it doesn't say it does), and it's RAM is a bit overpriced. Those two sites I think have the HAF for £80 as well. If you want to find a good board below £100, I think you should look for motherboard roundups of P55 and H55, probably budget boards. I've seen these sorts of articles on Tom's and Anandtech.

Corsair VX 550W £67
This got a 9.5 on jonnyguru.

Total: £287

The only problem is paying for shipping or postage.

The patriot RAM is £7 to post so it works out around the same price as the g.skill one on ebuyer.

Been thinking of the hyper 212 plus, watched loads of videos on installing it as well as reviews. Does the PSU have 2 6 pin adapters? I need them for the 5850.

I will probably go for the motherboard though thank you

Yea the postage variable is something that you'll have to work out. I'd say try and get the HAF 922, Mobo, CPU, etc from scan or ebuyer and then get the Hyper 212 and anything else that is cheaper on overclockers or aria with that.
Yea the VX550 does have 2 PCI-E connectors - one is an 8pin with detachable 2pin, ends up being a 6pin.

I had a quick look at ebay and the only one that I saw which had the 1156 clip was £33, hope you have made sure (emailed the seller) that the one you buy has the correct clip.
