Turning an All In One PC into A Touch Screen Monitor

Hey all,

I have an All In One PC that had the motherboard crap out. I was wondering if there was a guide out there for converting the remaining functional touchscreen monitor into something that I could plug into my regular old desktop. Any thoughts?

It depends. Most all in one PCs are basically laptops with no keyboard, and they use a special interface between the motherboard and the display; they do not use a VGA or DVI/HDMI interface. However, the only way to know for sure is to open it up . . .
