Hi all

Was searching around on google for my new build and kept getting links to these forums, so thought what better place to post :)

ASUS M4A78 Plus AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard - £53.90
AMD Phenom ii X2 550 Processor - £71.97
450W Corsair CMPSU-450VXUK, ATX, PS/2, UK Version, 80 PLUS® certified - £53.54
Antec VSK 2000 Midi-TowerCase - Black - £30.53
Total around £210

Current System
HP Pavilion Media Center TV Desktop PC:
- NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS
- 4 x 1GB 240 pin, DDR2, PC2-5300
- Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g
- 2 x Seagate Barracuda 200GB 7200.9 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5"
- 16X DVD(+/-)R/RW (+/-)R DL LightScribe drive

What I basically want to do is incorporate my old system into it as well to keep the price down for the time being. But keep it open to upgrades later on when i have the cash (RAM, GPU, Hard Drive). Above is my current idea, so if you could look over it when you get the chance, and give me any feedback (all the correct ports and power supply?) or suggestions on alternative parts etc it will be appretiated.

Also do i need to purchase anything else, such as screws? or does this come supplied with the motherboard?

thanks for any help.

Quite alright for an upgrade.

The case comes with all the screws/standoffs you need to build a pc. Mobo comes with cables & I/O backplate.
