hello agian, i have my final specifcation for my gaming rigg and i'd like some of your much appreciated advice :)

case: coolermaster cosmos pure
CPU: intel i7
MB: Rampage II Gene OR foxconn bloodrage (which is more suitable)
graphics: Radeon HD 5870
PSU: Quattro 850
HD: Velociraptor 300gb
RAM: Corsair Dominator (6gb triple channel, ddr3, 1600mhz)

firstly which motherboard is more appropriate?
secondly are there any more affordable / better quality components?
last of all my knowledge on PSU is quite lacking, my PC wont fry when i hook the PSU up will it?

For a full tower case I would reccommend a Coolermaster HAF 932 or Antec 1200 it offers pretty much everything you'll need. Althought the CM Cosmos Pure is a great case too, you will be fine with one of the cases I mentioned for a bit lower price. A 850W PSU will be more than enough even if you plan on crossfiring your GPU later on, a corsair 850TX would be a great buy. The Velociraptor HDD is unnecessary when it comes to gaming, for $50 you can get the Samsung Spinpoint F3. Spending $150 for a bit faster loading times is a waste of money.
