I am in DESPERATE NEED of purchasing parts for my custom built PC. My budget will be £600. The parts will be bought today. (most probably) I will be using this for School work, media and slight gaming - Combat arms. Not Crysis, not warhead, not GTA4 - none of those high demanding games. I will NOT be overclocking ANYTHING because I have no experience with it so everything that will be bought won't be upgraded. My monitor resolution will be 1440x900 or 1600x1200. I live in the UK so purchasing parts overseas in not an option. I do NOT require - keyboard, mouse, speakers, OS. Here are the parts I have already chosen:

Intels socket 775 has now been replaced with the i5 and soon to be released i3 processors . It would be out of date before you built it .

Your 9550 intel quad is outclassed by the Phenom 955 which is [ I dont do pounds] $20 cheaper

Its also outclassed by intels own new i5 750 and that costs just $6 more
