OK, I got excited when I saw the 24" monitor article, but very disappointed to see only 1 1920x1200 included. It's impossible these days to find a store that has some on display to check out, so buying something like a monitor is tough, you have to rely on reviews (hard to find) and user recommendations.

So, I'm gearing up for a 3 monitor setup. Looking for recommendations. Primarily for work & playing SWTOR.

I'd like to have them all sub-$500.

What I'm considering, but open to other suggestions:
HP LA2405wg
HP ZR24W
Dell U2412M

Let me know what you might own, tried, or have heard about. Hopefully there's be a BF deal on something good!

Thanks!

That's how I'm leaning too, especially after the review here.

I have a 2407WFP that I've had for years, since it came out. It still runs like a champ, but I know it's gonna be ugly next anything new, so I'm just going to replace it.

While there's probably something way better, the Dell U2412M is going to be better than what I have now & I still think that is pretty good.

Now if only Dell would have a BOGO on Black Friday! lol

Dell makes good monitors. The only drawback to the u2412hm is that it's not a true 8-bit panel, though it still manages 8-bit through alternating frames. It gets my vote if you're looking for a cheap non-tn monitor.

I have a u2410 sitting in front of me right now. It's worth considering too if you find a deal (it's better than the u2412h imho).

Also hp's zr2440w just came out, it's as pricy as the u2410, but you might find a deal.
