Hi,

I want to build a gaming pc in the near future, and recently come across some monatry issues. So I need to rethink my parts, any help would be appreciated.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: 2 months or so BUDGET RANGE: £600

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers, OS

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: novatech.co.uk

PARTS PREFERENCES: Preferably Intel E8400 CPU

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe overclocking the e8400 to 3.6-3.8. SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1680x1050 22"

Also should be able to play most games, for instance cod 4. And maybe even crysis on mid-high settings.

the E8400 is EOL

I'd go for a phenom II build instead, the 720 BE is the direct competitor to the E8400, so it might be a good idea if you start with that.

and you'll want a 4890 to go with that.
