Good gaming monitor options

Hello,
I am going to order the parts for my gaming computer today and I have pretty much everything taken care of except for the monitor. I have selected the "Gateway FHX2402Lbid Black 24" Full HD LED BackLight LCD monitor Slim Design" as a placeholder ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824113024 )
I was wondering if there are any better options out there that offer a lower price for similar specs ( I want somewhere in the ballpark of 23-25 inches, 1-3ms, and 1920-1080 resolution along with a DVI port), or better specs for a slightly higher price.
