Welcome to the forums!

Please post what you have now so we can better judge what would be a good upgrade for you.

In any case, avoid MSI motherboards.
They are low quality pieces of junk.
Try to locate an ASUS or Gigabyte motherboard if possible.

Ya must be pretty lucky zip, every MSI board I have ran has either failed or had major issues after 6 months.
The vast majority of the time, a quality ASUS board will tromp all over any MSI product especially when overclocking.
I agree that Gigabyte makes great products though.

My current system is...a Dell Dimension 3100 (cry).

I already have a new case and PSU ready so I just need a new motherboard and graphics card which I will put in that, and I will put in the rest of the components from my Dell. These are a Pentium 4 @3ghz (this will be the next thing to upgrade but not for a couple of months), 2 sticks of DDR2 1gb ram, dvd writer, 80gig sata HD, 250gig IDE HD. I have a 21" monitor and plan on gaming in 1280x1024. I think that's everything.

I was recommended the motherboard by someone at Guru3d, I will prolly stick with it unless anyone else has a good reason not too? It's winning 2-1 at the moment :p

Thanks
