Viewsonic monitor problems

I have a ViewSonic monitor for a few years. Nowadays if I turn off the computer with the monitor, it takes many times to turn on and off the computer until the monitor starts working. When it starts, it works fine until it is turned off. When the computer is on the light is blue, when off the light of orange. Any help?

It's may be the PC that's at fault. Try the monitor with a different PC and vice versa.

I've got exactly the same thing with mine. Did you ever discover what caused the problem?
