I am looking for an arm for a 3007WFP that will allow me to rotate the monitor from landscape to portrait and back. The best option I have found is the Ergotron MX Desk Mount LCD Arm but I was hoping to get something for a little less than $120, if possible.

Thanks!

I found a less expensive arm that can at least handle the weight, even if it doesn't officially support the size:

If you don't like that one, I found a better price than you quoted on the Ergotron MX:

Edit: I just noticed at http://www.ergotron.com/Products/tabid/65/PRDID/56/Default.aspx#dnn_ctr387_Main_ctl00_TechSpecsList that for the Ergotron MX, 'Portrait mode is incompatible with 30" displays'. I would expect arms that support portrait mode for 30" monitors to be more expensive than the Ergotron.

The price I listed was actually 114.99 with free shipping on Amazon, so after shipping provantage is still slightly higher in price (124.18).

My only complaint with the first one you linked is that my desk is fairly deep and I'm not sure what kind of range that would give me.

Do you know whether you can hook up a 3007WFP sideways on a mount that doesnt rotate? I ask because one of the monitors will always be sideways, while the other two will be the ones that rotate.

As far as the wall mounts go, what sort of requirements are there for installing them? Do you have to find a stud to mount them on?

For a 25 lb monitor, I expect you would need a stud (unless you've got plywood in the wall in place of plaster)

It should be possible to mount one as always portrait mode, as long as the mount is high enough, since the mounting holes are in a square pattern, rather than rectangular.

Okay. I appreciate your input. I'll likely just end up buying the Ergotron MX arms. When it comes to $700 monitors I suppose I can spend the extra money to ensure that they don't get damaged.

Thanks!
