Highest quality for gaming display: VGA, DVI, or HDMI?

I recently bought a 23" 1920x1080 LG LED monitor. It's about 1000x better than my old monitor and all of my games look much, much better on it. But, I was wondering which cable gets the best image quality out of a HD monitor (specifically for gaming). My monitor supports VGA, DVI, and HDMI. Currently, I believe I'm using a VGA cable. Everything looks great as I said, but I was wondering if switching to the other two would improve quality any more. My graphics card is a Radeon 5850, by the way.

  1. VGA is analog, rest both are digital connectivity options.. And when it comes to picture and motion, digital is better than analog..
  2. You want a digital signal. Basically that means DVI, HDMI and Display Port.

As long as inferior parts are not used (for both video card and monitor), they all should produce the same video quality.
