Is there a monitor better than Samsung PX2370?

ive been researching and asking here as well but all i see is that the px2370 gets a hell lot of good reviews while other monitors vary depending on the site doing the reviews. Ive read about the ASUS VH236H, Acer H233H bmid and even Acer GD235HZbid. Im not interested in 3D though and i prefer LED as well as 23 inches and 2ms. but whats out there sucks, at least px2370 looks a tad better than the competition. however, i cant purchase it at the moment, so what else would you recommend and why? I need it for gaming and movies, and i dont care for the gimmicky features.

I know is out of topic but, if you plan to mount your monitor in future. Please don't get PX2370 because it doesn't come with vesa standard or any standard to do mounting on mounting stand.

I have a LX2370 and i regretted it not because of its performance but because of the lack of a simple mounting option!
  2. If you watched the Cnet review then go search other reviewers

this guy Eric Franklin has no knowledge about monitors.

    Here is a better review:

  3. I am in the market for a LED monitor as well. I don't trust those cnet reviews myself. They show the same WoW clip when they talk about game performance. They also seem to try to push Samsung products. Propaganda? No, thanks.
Nothing against Samsung but I am going to go with the LG W2486L. It has 2 HDMI, 1 DVI, 1 VGA, and an audio out port. It is 24" and costs $299 on newegg. There are few reviews of it available due to everyone on the Samsung train. But the few videos I have seen of it were good. I have heard it can be a bit too bright, but I am not worried.

Cnet has a written review on it and they (Eric Franklin) try to push the xl2370 more than they give valid info on the LG. They claim the LG is 23" when it is 24" and say it is worse than the samsung and only has more hdmi as its only advantage. Well I smell bologna, I'll go with the LG.
