Monitor connections

I'm building myself a new desktop pc from scratch, but the different kinds of monitor connections confuse me. I have pretty much decided on using an Sapphire Ati Radeon HD 5770 1gb graphics card (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-216-SP), which appears to have 2x DVI-I dual link, 1 HDMI and 1 display port outputs.

The Monitor i am considering is a Samsung P2370 23" LCD Monitor (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-115-SA), which has one DVI-D input.

Is DVI-D incompatible with DVI-I dual link? if so, is there some kind of adaptor i can get to use this monitor with the graphics card? or would i be better off choosing a different monitor or graphics card?

Also, i have an old 19" monitor that i may use as a 2nd screen. This one only uses VGA, is it possible to connect this one?

thanks in advance for answers
