Question about upgrading...

As of right now, I mainly use my PC monitor to play video games on via VGA cable. The monitor is nothing special at all, it's just the 15'' (I believe) that came with my Dell PC when I first got it. Lately, I've been wanting to get a new monitor to enjoy my games on. I've been looking around Staples and Wal-Mart, and found a few nice HD monitors around 22''-23'' all with HDMI inputs for around $200 or so.

However, would it really be worth the money? Would the difference between what I'm playing on now be that noticeable on a PC monitor only about 7''-8'' wider?

You will need a video card that can handle the increased resolution otherwise... slideshow....
