Hi all, noob alert. :)

After selling a lot of old stuff on ebay (seriously, god bless ebay) I now have €350 euro at my disposal. However, that doesn't mean that I want to spend it all. Saving is good to. But anyway, I've been looking at some LG monitors, as my friend says they're amazing, in sizes 22" and 24". Here they are in order of price. I'd realy like if people told me what elements of a monitor make it good for gaming. Response time and resolution, I know, but what else?

- http://www1.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=25515&agid=603 - €160
- http://www1.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=26756&agid=603 - €248
- http://www1.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=26754&agid=367 - €230
- http://www1.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=27979&agid=367 - €328

Also these two Samsung's:
- http://www1.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=22428&agid=367 - €255
- http://www1.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=25715&agid=603 - €270

Also, I really don't know what the price/performance price-point is for monitors, so do tell.

I personally prefer some of Samsungs Monitors but I would highly recommend that you go into a B&M and take a good look at what they have before committing to anything. By good look I don't mean purchase, but to get a sense of how different models compare and which you prefer. Can't really do that online or by looking at specs.
