Old MVA or new TN monitor for photo editing?

Hi,
I have an Acer AL1913 which I bought back in 2005. I am thinking of upgrading to a Samsung 2032BW, but one of my main interests is photo editing, and I am lead to believe an MVA monitors are superior to TN monitors for these purposes.

The AL1913 is, I am lead to believe, an MVA monitor. The 2032BW is TN.

My question is, would I see an improvement in colour reproduction for photo editing, with a modern TN monitor compared to my 'old' MVA monitor?

Old MVA.

All TN panels relies on a form of dithering to reproduce 16.2m - 16.7m colors. That can lead to color inaccuracies.

I'm still using a Planar PX191 with a S-PVA back from 2002 (now for my secondary PC / HTPC).
