¿Is that HDD the new model? Suspicious.

Hello. First, sorry for my English, I´m from Spain.
This morning, I´ve bought a 2.5" HDD Toshiba 500 GB. I was looking for MK5055GSX exactly. At shop, they gave me the MK5076GSX. I´ve asked him the difference, and he said to me that the 5076GSX is the new model of Toshiba (replacing old one, 5055GSX). ¿True? ¿False?.

The 5055GSX was the perfect HDD for me. It power consumption was very very low for my laptop (Acer Timeline Series). I´ve searched at reviews and I´ve not seen any article about this "new model".

Hello. Yes, the 5076GSX is the newer model and according to Toshiba the power consumption is slightly lower. Transfer rates are also better
