Is my monitor dead?

Hi all,

I have a Relisys 17" monitor that i`ve had for about 4 years now. I turned it on last night and no power led came on and no picture came up. So I left it for a few hours then when I turned it on later no picture came up but the LED on the front was flashing green, when usually its solid Amber for stand-by and solid Green for power on.

Any ideas whether its my monitor here thats the issue or whether my Graphics card is shafted (which is only 2 months old!)

Thanks for the help.

  1. The flashing probably means "no signal", try reconnecting the signal cable to the video card.

  2. Tried another monitor on my card and its getting a signal fine, so think my monitor is dead.
