Looking To Buy A New Graphics Card In The £150-200 Range.

I'm looking to invest in a new graphics card for gaming. All I want really is to be able to play BF3 on max graphics. my friend has the Radeon 7870 and he highly recommends it. I just wanted some advice from you guys as to what to spend my money on. Would it be better to buy a nvidia card? and when does the new series of radeon cards come out? ![:)]( ":)")

Also check the systems powersupply can handle the upgrade-If you're not certain, pop the side panel off and take a look at the rating label on its side then post your findings here.
