Best gpu under £180 for playing bf3, skyrim, crysis(1 & 2), black ops, just cause 2 etc...! Had a look at a few 560ti's but still don't know! I don't mind if it's amd or nvidia, as long as it a good performer. Looking for about 40-50 fps at ultra if possible!

Spec( I was on a £580 budget when i bought this a year ago)

Motherboard - Gigabyter MA770T-UD3

RAM - Kingston 4GB DDR3 1333mhz ( going to upgrade to corsair vengeance 8gb 1600mhz)

GPU - ATI Radeon 6670(Looking to upgrade to whatever is recommended)

PSU - 480w(please tell me if this is enough!)

CPU - AMD X4 955 3.20ghz

You're in the right area cardwise, but I'd seriously suggest you put a decent powersupply in there first.
Dabs, Misco, Scan, Overclockers, Aria, Ebuyer, Pixmania and Amazon are good places to start shpping.
The GTX660 (non Ti) is a match for the HD7850 and similarly priced and both are a little better than my (heavily abused) HD6950, which seems to cope with most games at at least high settings.
Have a read here:

Props coozie, I'd agree with you on the GTX 660, whether to choose the 7850 or 660 though depends on your needs, for example BF3 would more make use of the 660 whereas Crysis would use the 7850 better. Mind you, you can pick up a 7870 that is slightly better than the 660 for around £160 i think :p

Thats an HD7870 with duel fan cooler.

This is IF your 480PSU can handle it. But it should. THese cards sip very little power comparitively.

Edit : Oh wait, this is previous gen... Hmmm where did I see the 7870 for around 180???

Nice!:) Thanks for that! I might spend a little bit more on the psu to get a 500w from corsair!:) I was just having a look on avforums and i saw a guy with the same budget as me, and he got the 660 in the end, so i guess is the best out of the 2!:) thx alot

As has been said, it's swings and roundabouts for the card, Nvidia are better at some games, AMD better at others, either way (GTX660 or HD7850) you're in for quite a nice surprise :) .
Good call on the PSU, no harm in a little overengineering!
Have fun shopping, mate.

Either 660 or 7870 i'd suggest, 660 for more battlefield, 7870 for more crysis.
Bearing in mind as well, the 7870 uses more power than the 660.
I agree with Sunius - get that MSI, i'm about to buy an MSI GTX 660 Ti Power Edition :D
