Hi guys ive almost finished my build.. so far heres what ive got and im looking for a GPU that i can play wow on ultra with pretty much 80+ fps all the time, even in 25 man raids etc.

What i have is

i5-3570k
500gb normal hdd
550w psu
asrock extreme 4
4gb 1600mhz ram

Your going way, way overkill on that processor. A 965 would be more than enough, and those Sandybridge Pentiums would be fine with WoW.
WoW only uses one core.
You'll get around 20 FPS more if you are using windows 7 and launch WoW with directX 11.

Will need more details on your budget and specs (Like, what make of PSU, which manufacturer of HDD, etc).

it's an xfx 550w psu with like 44a on the 12v rail (somewhere around that) and it's one i've already got. i think its a liteon

@ bradderzd1994: Living in the UK your best bet is the AMD HD7850, you should be able to source one at the upper end of your budget.
If you go Nvidia, aim for the 448 core 560 Ti, it's a little slower than the HD7850 but can be had for a few less drinking vouchers and is the only card they have in this price segment worth having.
You can never have too much power in a gaming rig-go for that i5!
And guys, the OP is in the UK, no Newegg links OK? :) .

It's worth it.The MSI Radeon HD 7870 HAWK is the MSI Lightning's smaller brother. It uses the company's signature Twin Frozr II dual-fan cooler. MSI has also increased the clock speeds of the HD 7870 HAWK to 1100 MHz GPU and 1200 MHz memory.

@ Brad Future proof? No such thing in the computer world.

@Big What are you on about? You can get great cards for £100. The 6850 is awesome.
Unless you meant £10, then you'd be right. But no great cards for £100? Come on man. The £54 6670 I've got is pretty good.

@OP This is the card I'll be getting when I get some cash, 'tis a good 'un. The 7850 is around 30% better than the 6850.

If you consider a 6850 a great card that's your thing it's a bit to weak for me maybe it's not for other person that's for him to decide he states he wants 80+ fps all the time lol i am not sure that will happen but with a 7870 he has a better chance ;)
