Hi guys i recently had a Radeon 6870 and had problems with it. I would always get black screens now and again and i got a full refund from amazon.

This card cost me £120

But now i was looking to get a really decent card around £150 and upwards.. i was looking at the 560 Ti

A friend recommended me this and said it will smash everything for the money, but i just wanted a few more oppinions

If you are at 1080p or lower then this card will definatly be a good choice. for around $30-$40 more US dollars you can get a 7870 (not sure of your currency), but this would be a nice performance increase over the 7850, and both cards are superior to the 6870.

Thanks guys i was thinking about getting the 7850 then. Is it worth paying the extra for the 7870 though? And what would the best deal for money be to get and company to buy from.. sapphire, xfx, msi.. etc?

I think the 7870 is a bit too much for my budget.. the cheapest i can found is like £200+

I can find some 7850's for £150-180

if you are not overclocking, and your build has decent ventilation, a single fan will work fine. As for the manufacturer look at rebates, most of the time its not much of a difference in them, i have a powercolor 6870 and it runs great. depending on prices, for $30-$40 more i would buy the 7870 but i think its 50 more of your currency.

The HD 7850 is a good card, the HD 7870 is an excellent card, so it will depend upon your budge.

Sapphire and EVGA are good cards, MSI has a nice cooler system.

looks good other than the weird title. but im pretty sure its a 7850, and for the price its a strong card. And GIGABYTE give you a 3 year warranty via serial #, so great choice!

The good ol Twin Frozr eh? I personally plan on getting a 660 Ti Twin Frozr for my intel build, and these cards should be able to OC more into the stock 7950 range with a strong OC(I think)
