Best graphics card for the £100-120 point?

I was thinking the XFX 6850 1GB, but I don't know if this is the "best" for the price, currently it's about £120-130 but the XFX 6870 is £110?


I don't mind Nvidia, my current GPU is an Nvidia ASUS GT 440, so if you know of a similar or better performing card on the green side of the fence for the same price let me know, right now I'm really not sure what to get

the £120 budget is kind of "set" but If putting in an extra £10 means a LOT more performance then go ahead and suggest that.

I don't know why edit is disabled, sorry. But here is what I'm looking at, there's a nice fancy red XFX 6850 1GB for £123 but a smaller black XFX 6850 1GB is £101? What's the deal?

The smalled one (101) has 775Mhz Clock Speed and 960 Stream units and 4000Mhz memory clock.

Whereas,

The big one (Red, 123) has 800Mhz Clock Speed, 1408 Stream Units and 5000Mhz Memory Clock.

Conclusion: The red fancy one is way better

It's the same CHIPSET. One is clocked higher, one is clocked lower... aaaaaaaand one looks better
