Best GPU I can buy for £350-£400

I am building a PC for the first time and I'm wondering what the best GPU I can buy for the price range of £350-£400.
I am currently looking at Asus 2GB GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU II which I have been told is the best GTX 670 you can buy. But what I'm wondering is if there is anything better I can get for a similar price range.
I would appriciate it if you could explain to me why it is better or why I should purchase it over this GPU as I am complete noob when it comes to things like this.
