New graphics card £100 budget

Hi
My friend built me a budget rig about 6 months ago. Now i would like to upgrade my graphics card because my card geforce 9500gt is a bit slow when playing modern games. Here is a link to its unimpressive specs

http://www.inno3d.com/products/graphic_card/gf9/9500gt....

However i only have a 450W power supply and a relatively cheap motherboard .

Here are the specs for the motherboard. regarding the graphics card slots. A lot of the graphics cards i looked at need 3.0 or 2.1 slots or something so i thought i should check what will work with your lot.

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/870-G45.html#?div=Detail

Slots
• 1 PCI Express 2.0 slot with x16 operation (PCI Express Bus SPEC V2.0 compliant)
• 1 PCI Express 2.0 slot with x4 operation (PCI Express Bus SPEC V2.0 compliant)
• 1 PCI EXpress x1 slot
• 3 PCI slots, support 3.3V/ 5V PCI bus Interface

What i would like to know is what is the best card i can get that will fit my machine for £100 or under ?

My preferable sellers are amazon and ebuyer but im open to more if they're reputable.

Thank you !!!

Actually, What exactly is the PSU? Some PSU are labeled 450W, but burn out when doing 300W Load. If your PSU is fine (yes your Motherboard seems fine), I recommend this 6850 for the £100. I wonder why it is very cheap but should be a good deal.

I suggest changing the PSU. What budget can you put?

Well i was really hoping i didn't have to change the psu aswell. I suppose i have a £40 budget for psu but i would really like to avoid buying one if i can get away with my current one since my system isn't massively power hungry.
Or maybe there is a slightly worse card that i could get that doesn't need a new psu ?

I think you need to change it so your system is stable :) . Here is CX500 that I would get for £40

With VAT and delivery that psu is £55.49 and the other one suggest is £50.33.
Is there any branded psu that would run the card that is a bit cheaper ?

In the end i bought a 550 watt corsair psu for £35.
The 6850 went up in price just before i was about to buy, i waited a couple of weeks but it didn't go down again so i spent £10 more and got a XFX 6870.

Thanks for all your help !
