Need help to correct geometric distortion

Hello all,

I recently purchased a Mitsubishi DiamondView 19NF monitor. There is a noticable distortion at the top of the screen where the picture slants sideways towards the left. It doesn't affect the whole screen just the top 1 - 2 cm. I want to get the most out of my monitor. I have tried to manipulate some of the OSD controls for geometry but I have no idea what I am doing. Apart from the distortion problem the monitor performs reasonably well.

Can anyone help me? I bought the monitor and a few weeks later I found the guide for CRTs here. I wish I had look first before I bought :(.

  1. There's a link to the monitor manual on this page, which might help you figure out the controls.

Have you installed the driver for the monitor?

You might find this utility helpful for setting up and calibrating your display. It's not free, but it is an excellent product for this purpose.
