Anyway - Fixed.

the 7950 will be my choice, it runs cooler and uses less power while giving you the same performance generally.

The 7950 also has a lot of OC potential and driver improvement headroom.

If they are the same price where you are the the 7950 is the better card. I would say that unless the GTX is about $50 cheaper then get the 7950.

Actually for another 100$ I can get the 7970, which I guess that is more powerful than both of the above mentioned GPU's.

You think that the price gap between the 580/7950 to the 7970 is worth it?

There is no price difference between 580 to 7950, so...

I went eventually for the 7970
