Hello all. I've been meaning to get around to getting a graphics card for some time now (been using on board forever), but its the one area of hardware where I can confidently say that I'm really, truly hopeless! Wondered if anyone might have any suggestions based on my spec:

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE:
Hopefully January

BUDGET RANGE:
No more than £200

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT:
Primary use will be games in the vein of WoW, Star Trek Online, Second LIfe, Eve Online etc. Nothing
crazy, but would like to be able to run games of that ilk at close enough to highest settings.
Might use or some 3d modelling (blender).

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY:
Graphics: Asus M4A89GT built in graphics.
PSU: OCZ 500SXS2 (500w)

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS:
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955
MotherBoard - Asus M4A89GT Pro
RAM: 8gb Kingston KVR1333D3n9 (4 x 2G)

Case: Cooler Master Centurion 5 II with the following fans:
Front: 140 x 25 mm Blue LED on /off fan x 1 / 1200 RPM / 19 dBA
Rear: 120 mm fan x 1 / 1200 RPM / 17 dBA

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate (x64) Service Pack 1

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS:
Usually use komplett.ie or dabs.ie, but anything within EU suits.

PARTS PREFERENCES:
None (That I'm aware of :) )

OVERCLOCKING: No - Would prefer not to have to.
SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe - This has always looked a bit of a hassle to me! But willing to consider it.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1024x768

Thanks for the replies.

fuggles - Had a quick google and that looks pretty dandy alright, I'll stick it down on the list.

refillable - Cash situation means I will only be buying one or the other for the near future. Would either series of card you mentioned work ok with my current monitor/resolution?
